We are pleased to announce the release of the Impinj Speedway Revolution Configuration Tool, a free diagnostic and configuration software application for the Impinj Speedway Revolution RFID Reader.

The configuration tools removes the need configure the Speedway Revolution using the RShell Command Line Inteface. Most features and settings are directly supported by the tool. Multiple settings can be retrieved and changed with the click of the mouse.

The configuration tool has the following features:

TCP based Network Connectivity
Displays Configuration and Diagnostic Information
Publish Multiple Settings
Reboot Device

Note: This tool requires Octane Firmware Version 4.2 or greater.

The Speedway Revolution firmware can be upgraded using the following RShell command:

config image upgrade http://revolution.impinj.com/octane_4_2_0.upg
